Flamed Birch

This species was once prevalent throughout the upper Great Lakes area, but harvestable sized trees are presently rare at best. The color, wavy figure, and tight old growth grain pattern are unique to each log. Further coloration from the lake bottom make each log a one-of-a-kind.
